When using Desktop Camera application, the preview image of the camera does not follow the screen rotation. |
Cause |
Desktop Camera application does not have a function to follow the screen rotation. So the camera driver detects the screen direction, and modifies the preview image direction.
After Windows 8, Store Camera application or Universal Camera application has a function to follow the screen rotation. Then the camera driver distinguish the kind of the camera application, and modifies the preview image direction only when using Desktop Camera application.
In Windows 10 Anniversary Update, because of the change of OS behavior, the camera driver can't distinguish the kind of the camera application. Therefore, the preview image of the camera can't follow the screen rotation.
