What is DocArchive?
Using a standard web browser, the DocArchive Appliance gives you the ability to capture documents and index them, providing secure storage as well as fast retrieval. The DocArchive Appliance is ideal for in-house electronic document management, storage, and archives.

What is ECM?
Enterprise content management (ECM) is the technology used to capture, store, preserve and deliver content and documents related to organizational processes. ECM tools and strategies allow the management of an organization's unstructured information, wherever that information exists.

The DocArchive Appliance was designed to provide an easy-to-use repository for content which includes hard copy information that can be scanned and stored. It is perfectly tailored for either small to medium sized businesses that do not have IT resources to configure and manage Microsoft SharePoint®, or  departments within a larger business that have a specific requirement. The DocArchive Appliance allows you to quickly configure a content management solution for archiving all of your content into a Microsoft SharePoint® repository. The DocArchive Appliance uses Fujitsu scanners for on-ramping paper-based content into a centralized repository utilizing meta-data from the scanned images to search and retrieve the data.
