Quotes Farhat
Ali, President and CEO, Fujitsu America: "Fujitsu America is
pleased to validate the success of our consolidation with this significant
managed IT infrastructure services contract with Alliance Data. The deal
firmly establishes us as one of the leading North American IT services
companies and substantially expands the range of IT solutions this economic
climate demands."
As Gartner, Inc. noted in its report "Changes Ahead: Place Your IT Services
and Sourcing Bets Wisely" authored by Allie Young and Ben Pring (December
3, 2008): "... organizations have available to them a growing list of
service providers -- some global and others that are geographically
based -- that can supplement and support critical shifts in the market and
within an organization. No organization can internally support all
IT-enabled initiatives; even the largest global corporations with the
deepest pockets for investment and talent embrace outsourcing as a business
tool -- and rarely use a single provider."
