Fujitsu Showcases Notebooks That Combine Fashion, Form and Function at 2009 International CES

Tokidoki Limited-Edition, Ultra-Portable With WiMAX, Senior Citizen and Water-Cooled Notebooks Take CES Center Stage

LAS VEGAS, NV -- (Marketwire) -- 01/08/09 -- 2009 CES -- Fujitsu Computer Systems Corporation showcased its versatility in PC design, presenting notebooks that traverse the generations at the 2009 International CES in Fujitsu Booth #13244, Las Vegas Convention Center Central Hall. The 1.32-pound limited-edition tokidoki®-branded LifeBook® U820 convertible mini notebook with integrated Garmin Mobile® GPS navigation combines computing power with a fun fashion statement. The award-winning ultra-portable LifeBook P8020 notebook is WiMAX-enabled for consumers and mobile professionals on the move. Senior citizens will appreciate the easy-to-use Japanese Raku-Raku PC, designed to make computing easier for seniors with little prior computing experience. A novel approach to cooling notebooks is showcased with the LifeBook N7010 notebook, the industry's first water-cooled portable.

Limited-edition tokidoki-branded LifeBook U820 convertible mini notebook

    Delivering touch screen capability, long battery life, and Microsoft® Windows® computing power, the limited-edition LifeBook U820 convertible mini notebook features a Japanese-inspired tokidoki design created by Italian artist Simone Legno.

The LifeBook U820 convertible mini notebook with a standard cover is priced starting at $1,049(1) for a base configuration. Users can choose from a recommended configuration, or they can customize their LifeBook U820 mini notebook using the Fujitsu Configure To Order (CTO) program. The LifeBook U820 mini notebook with a standard cover is available immediately through the Fujitsu direct sales force, website and channel partners and select retailers/e-tailers(2).


  • Pre-installed with Windows Vista® Business or Home Premium, offering plenty of power to work, access an office network, check email, conduct video conferences, watch downloaded movies, listen to MP3 files, play games, browse the Internet, take pictures or stay connected with family and friends.
