Fujitsu America and Fujitsu Canada receive "Best Practices" awards

British Standards Institute (BSI), our registrar for ISO 9001 certification, has awarded Fujitsu America, including its subsidiary, Fujitsu Canada, with several "Best Practice" awards resulting from their compliance audits of our processes.

External ISO 9001 audits conducted over the past two years by BSI have identified several particularly positive functions, processes, or practices being executed by various departments within the two organizations. These have been noted by the auditor as 'Best Practices'. Best Practices are those that exceed accepted standards for quality, integrity and meeting customer requirements as compared to other companies audited by BSI. Fujitsu America and Fujitsu Canada are proud of their well-earned Best Practices awards as recognition of its on-going commitment to quality at every level of business.

Since 2004, Fujitsu America and Fujitsu Canada have received twelve Best Practice recognitions:

• The Mobile Repair Center has received three Best Practices for its metrics and documentation.
• The Quality Office received one Best Practice for the internal quality audit process and one for the methodology used in reporting Key Performance Indicators to top management for timely and fact-based decision making.
• Our IT department’s eCommerce Applications received one best practice for exacting documentation.
• Product & Solutions Marketing received one Best Practice for clear, effective documentation.
• Global Support Center received two Best Practices for execution of processes and documentation.
• Fujitsu Canada Enterprise Sales received a Best Practice for the effective Enterprise Order Entry and Quote Tool process.
• Fujitsu Canada Finance group received one Best Practice for their management practices.
• Our field office in Rosemont, IL received one for Customer Service’s recorded documentation of employee training and competencies.
